Switzerland has also agreed to a net-zero target by 2050. Switzerland is therefore striving to ensure that the amount of greenhouse gases emitted does not exceed the amount that is removed from the atmosphere.
Many cantons and municipalities have set themselves the goal of achieving net zero even earlier. Most cities and municipalities pass these targets on to municipal companies and ask them to make their contribution to saving energy or achieving the net zero targets in their respective areas.
Achieving the net-zero targets is only possible if emissions are avoided as far as possible and all possible measures are implemented. The construction industry also has a responsibility here. The deconstruction and separability and recyclability of building materials must be considered as early as the planning stage. Even supposedly small potentials must be exploited. The recycling of pipes also has a contribution to make.
